Drama and Film and Video Programs at Shoreline Community College
The theater arts and film and video programs at Shoreline Community College provide hands-on experiences for students in theater and digital filmmaking -- from acting and directing for the stage to playwriting, screenwriting, editing and production of film.  Students elect to focus on acting, video/film production, video/film editing, writing for the camera, directing or technical theater (stage technology such as basic lighting and design).

Students choose from three certificate programs – Acting for Stage and Camera, Digital Filmmaking Technology and Writing and Directing for the Camera.  All programs are designed so that students can explore their personal creative voices while developing skills.

Each quarter, students have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in college stage and film productions.  Additionally, during the summer, students can complete internships with local TV stations, production companies, casting directors and businesses.

For more information about the Drama and Film and Video Programs at Shoreline Community College, visit the web site at:  http://www.shoreline.edu/dramavideo/default.htm.
